United by Purpose: How Bidpath Rallied in 2025 to Raise Over £100,000 for Brain Tumour Charities

The Bidpath Foundation is Born

Inspired by George’s strength and determination, the Bidpath team came together to launch The Bidpath Foundation – to create a place for the business to come together, find ways to fundraise for meaningful causes, and make a real difference. For the first year of the foundation, we wanted the focus of our efforts to go towards Brain Tumour charities, in George’s honour.

Our inaugural campaign took place in March 2025, when 35 team members from across six countries laced up their shoes for The Brain Tumour Charity’s Twilight Walk. Together, we walked and ran an incredible 482km (300 miles), raising £3,329 – more than double our initial target – in support of Brain Tumour Awareness Month.

Going the Extra Mile … Literally

The momentum didn’t stop there. In May, our CEO David Brindley took on the Buxton Half Marathon, raising an outstanding £14,261 – nearly six times his original goal – again in support of The Brain Tumour Charity.

His commitment echoed across the business and inspired others to push themselves in their own ways – whether through solo fundraising events, volunteering, or community engagement.

The Gavel Trail & Auction: A Creative Triumph

In one of our most ambitious projects to date, Bidpath partnered with Wild in Art to create the Gavel Art Trail & Auction, a national campaign that married creativity with charity.

Throughout September and October, uniquely decorated auction gavel sculptures were displayed at auction houses and public spaces across the UK and Europe – from Yorkshire to Vienna. On November 6, 2025, the sculptures went under the hammer at the RICS Surveyors House in Westminster, powered by Bidpath’s own auction software.

The result? An incredible £41,200 was raised on the night, plus more than £1,500 in follow-up donations, with the standout piece – created by artist Jonathan Wade and sponsored by Tennants Auctioneers – selling for £10,100.

George summed it up best:
“During the exhibition I visited businesses and hospices who’d supported us. The whole exercise was an incredible and inspiring experience.”

A Collective Effort

All told, the Bidpath team’s efforts in 2025 raised over £100,000 for:

• The Brain Tumour Charity
• The National Brain Appeal
• International Children's Palliative Care Network

These efforts weren’t just about financial contributions. They reflected the heart of our company – people supporting people, whether through sponsorship, steps walked, miles run, or gavels bid on.
